Hey there! I'm Olivia Cha, a rising senior at La Canada High School. I've created this blog to share my interests and hopefully build a community where we can inspire one another!

I'm passionate about public advocacy and law, aspiring to pursue careers that allow me to bring justice to our world. It might sound a bit cheesy, but it's genuinely what drives me.

In my free time, I love riding horses, eating, and napping! These activities help me relax and recharge amidst a busy schedule. I'm also active in Speech and Debate, competing exclusively in the Lincoln-Douglas event. Through debating various policies, I've developed a strong interest in advocating for societal change and improving the status quo. This experience has honed my critical thinking and public speaking skills, which I believe are essential for effective advocacy.

At school, I'm involved in a variety of clubs, including the National Honor Society, Equestrian Club, Speech and Debate Team, and Beyond Bars Initiative. Being surrounded by ambitious peers motivates me to strive for excellence in everything I do. These extracurricular activities have given me a well-rounded perspective and a deeper understanding of the issues that matter most to me.

My main interests lie in criminal justice and international law. I am committed to making a meaningful impact on my community and beyond by working towards a more just and equitable society. I believe that everyone deserves fair treatment and that it's our responsibility to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.

On a more personal note, I have a younger sister who is five years younger than me. She inspires me every day with her curiosity and determination. We share a special bond, and I hope to be a positive role model for her as she grows up. Our family also includes my favorite dog, Marshmallow. Even though he might not always show it, in my mind, we're the best of friends. Marshmallow brings so much joy and comfort to my life, and I cherish every moment with him.
